It has been a busy March, our gymnasts working as hard as ever, but we did manage to choose a gymnast of the month for March. With so many competitions happening both acro and tumbling, parent viewing, badge testing and displays it was difficult to choose a gymnast.
The gymnast chosen is extremely dedicated, both to her individual development and also to her tumbling team. This gymnast has transferred from Artistic gymnastics to take on the discipline of tumbling. Since joining the elite tumbling team in January she has improved immensely on her tumble ability and confidence.
This gymnast competed for Spelthorne in the National Qualifiers, competing at National 1 level and earning 8th place. A huge achievement for her first tumble competition with us and considering what a tough category she faced this year. Entries for this category always are one of the biggest proving it harder to make your mark with such tight competition.
Coaches all agree Esme Kay is the deserving winner for March. Being only the young age of 8 years old, they all agree Esme is a star to watch out for in the future. With the determination Esme is showing it will not be long for until she progresses further.
Well done Esme and welcome to Spelthorne and the Elite Tumbling Squad – Keep it up! 🙂
