Earlier on in the year our Spelthorne tumbling team competed in the qualification rounds of the British Tumbling Championships, and the two Olivers went on to gain places in the finals. So this weekend Tyler travelled to Liverpool with the two powerhouses that are Ollie Baines and Oliver Coombs! 

If you have watched our Spelthorne Tumblers you’d know by now they mean business, there is no messing around – they are there to whip, flip, twist and somersault the crowd into silence with their tumble passes.. and this weekend the boys did just that! 

Having the brand new tumble track and fast track at the gym I’m sure goes a long way in motivating the gymnasts to perform better, and to improve on power, speed and difficulty. The boys both performed very well!! Oliver Coombs narrowly missing out on the final day of competition but Ollie Baines qualified and went on to finish 6th on the final day of competition …a fab result for both boys!
